I did as requested w/ no success. Still get "Your account could not be validated. Communications with the Globe Cargo VA server will be inhibited."

unable to log onto server

On attempt to log on 1 Nov I get a msg saying my account cannot be validated. Pilot number and password checks ok in User Setup but still no capability to logon.
Wonder if this may be reset at your end??
Thanks

Wx/Rwy determination

I found this interesting site for determination of appropriate rwy for fields worldwide, and they are keen to add new ones at your request.
Hope it is of use to some:

32/7 Rule

I notice the 32/7 limitation has been removed in the crew roster listing. Is this intentional ? and are we allowed to rack up hours to 100 w/in a month ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: VNAV question

Joe, As for the VNAV page setting and really for any change made to the FMC nothing will occur until you "execute" w/ the appropriate button. This is one of the great things about this FMC--you can "what if" it to death and nothing happens till you execute the change--ie. on the progress page you ca...

Re: VNAV question

Hey little joe, If I understand you correctly when you are @ FL090 and are cleared to FL150, you set 150 in the MCP but then rather than a legs page you should go to the VNAV page and set 150 in LSK 1L. This will turn on the "execute" light and when pressed will in turn begin the climb (assuming all...

Re: Globe Cargo destination scenary database

Some thought might be given to FSX or FS9 compatibility also. My biggest problem is finding scenary that will work w/ FSX.

Re: Skip the Smithsonian, go to Dayton

As you all may be aware, the 2009 Fancon is being held in Dayton over Labor day weekend 4-6 Sep. The event is at the Hope hotel (named in honor of Bob) located immediately adjacent to the Air Base and close to the museum. This would be a great way to catch up on Flt Sim products and manufacturers, t...

32/7 Problems

Just a reminder guys--The FAA looks very unfavorably on airlines that schedule or pilots that fly more than 32 hours in a rolling 7 days or 100 in 30 consecutive days. Also it defeats the realism we are striving for in balancing your flight schedule w/ the allowed times as mentioned above. I see mor...

I agree w/ everything Bryan mentioned in his post--I use ultimate traffic and find w/ a little editing it can offer traffic almost as realistic as real life. Also I find the atis feature of Active sky to be quite realistic. As long as we are in contact w/ any acars ground station we may call up atis...

Long Flight

I watched w/ some interest yesterday as Justin flew Santiago, Chile to Bombay, India nonstop---some 8800 nm and maybe 17+ hours. I think it's about as far as you can go w/ a light load (less than 50k) so I presume the cargo must be worth its weight in diamonds to justify the 500,000+ lbs of fuel req...

Way to go guys

I notice @ 1730Z today 9 of us airborne at once. Better and better usage of the system by everyone as time goes by. Bravo Zulu
