Re: Unable to post PIREP
Thanks for chiming in with the link Yorik. Mark, the first line of the error is a trademark of a known issue that the link to a new EXE file that Yorik provided *should* fix. Copy and paste that EXE file and overwrite the existing EXE in your main GCP folder. The next GCP update will have that fix i...

Re: Stick with GCP or Change to a Commercial PIREP Software?
My vote is to keep GCP because of the MEL's / Maint log, CAT status ETC.. I like that part of it the best. Its the reason i love flying for Globe personally. If you could somehow have that in a commercial program i could see the change, but having all the above items is what sets this place apart f...

Thanks for the input Peter.PKlijnstra wrote:Hi Justin,
I changed my vote to keep GCP.
If Xplane will be availible, GCP is still a nice ACARS.

Re: Stick with GCP or Change to a Commercial PIREP Software?
I have been working on an update to GCP that adds Xplane support. With or without GCP we will be adding the Xplane platform to GC.

Stick with GCP or Change to a Commercial PIREP Software?
We are considering changing from GCP to a commercially available PIREP software (which one is yet to be determined). Please caste your vote to either keep GCP or switch to another software. The catalyst for this consideration is that GCP development takes by far the most of my time in terms of GC ad...

Re: GCA pirep
If you are autosaving when using PMDG models, the pause during the save is on PMDG's end. I don't know how it works under the hood but my guess is that PMDG pauses the sim in order to save all their data at a static state. If the pausing occurs on other aircraft then there's some other issue going o...

Ok, it does sound like the same thing. Flight Ops at my airline calls it CANPA and we are going to begin doing these in the real world soon.

Is that the same thing as Constant Angle Non-Precision Approach (CANPA)?hawkeyeted wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2017 4:18 pmDecided to skip the ILS and try something I haven't done in a while. Performed the RNAV 21R at Travis and flew a CDAP to landing. Right on the money.

Re: Globe Cargo ASCARS
I'll take another look at the code but first make sure the current GCP is uninstalled and install only the file that's found on Discord. The installer located on the website has not been updated to the new version yet.

Not at present. I think any new "for fun" aircraft will require the removal of another aircraft.
How does that model compare to the Aerosoft A320?

Re: TeamSpeak or Discord?
We have a lot of members on Discord now. It's not official just yet but I believe we are going to switch to Discord. There are too many advantages to Discord over TS. The big one I see is the texting. You enter the server in the text message area and that's what many of us are doing, just chatting v...

Re: Globe Acars, shows flight not complete
Ok, we'll get that confirmed for you. As long as the airports codes match in GCP as on the server it should autoconfirm but every once in a while there's a fluke in the system.

Was this a charter board flight that should have auto confirmed?
