MS Flight Sim

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

MS Flight Sim

Post by nwadc10 »

I've been watching some YouTuber's reaction to the MSFS event they were invited to. So far what I've watched everyone is VERY impressed. Could this be the end-all flight sim??

It sure looks that way! My jaw hurts from dropping so much. It really seems as though its going to put developers like Orbx, REX, and the lot out of business.

"oh, you developed a realistic scenery of xxxx airport? Thats cool... here's a 3D scanned model of the exact airport with every building and every feature... stock."

I'm stoked :D

Not for me.

I've invested to much in P3dv4 to switch again to a new sim.

I stay with P3dv4

I am quite satisfied with P3D v4 and the aircraft add-ons.

For me there is no need to switch to a cloud-feeded silulator.

P3d, is working fine for me.
The new MS simulator?? I'll believe it when I see it for real... looks like it is for gamers.

Technology, is moving fast, one never knows what we will see tomorrow.

I mostly agree. It will take some time for add-ons to catch up but it will make for some fun sight seeing flights.

As for it being for gamers,I thought that initially too but if you watch videos of the developers talk about what they are doing with it I think you'll be amazed. They said directly that their first objective is to satisfy the true simmers. One example is that there are 1000 points of aerodynamic calculation on the airplane. A wing can stall at any point on it.
