My First Screenies to GCVA

Post by Gregory Rains »

Howdy,

I felt like sharing some snaps I made on two recent trips. They were GTI8360 (KMIA-SEQU) and GTI5443 (EGCC-KORD).

Image
On this first one, I was beggining to think that my flight sim textures were starting to act up because the panel kept flickering.
As it turned out, I was flying over an active thunderstorm near Panama.

Image
Here I'm overflying the Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito, Equador and beginning the tear drop entry procedure
for the ILS to Rwy 35. I'd show you the screen shot of the landing, however...

Image
The last couple of snaps are of an evening flight originating from Manchester, England. The sunset as seen from the
control tower was pretty amazing (courtesy of Active Sky 2012 & REX Essential).

Cheers!
