TRAINING HAS STARTED

"I am pleased to announce that our training program has now been launched. To access the current training courses and tests please look in Human Resources > Training on the main web page. Courses and tests will be divided into 2 sections - MANDATORY and OPTIONAL. The mandatory tests will be for :- 1. An entrance exam for new Applicants (still being developed) 2. Indoctrination courses for new joiners (two courses and associated tests now in place) There are TWO indoctrination course covering the Pilot manual, these are in the form of ""Power Point Show"" files which should automatically run on most computers. They are quite large (about 3.5 mb) and must be downloaded onto your computer to run them. Once you have been through the course you should take the relevant test which is automatically submitted for marking, you should receive your results within 3-4 working days. The ""pass"" mark for both tests is 70%. As from TODAY anybody who joins Globe VA must pass both these tests before they may be considered for promotion, entry into the Hall of Fame or entered into the Hours Clubs. Existing members may take these tests if they wish but they are only mandatory for joiners from today. However if your regional manager has concerns about your adherence to our rules and procedures from information submitted on your PIREPS, he may request that you take the courses and tests and your status will be set to ""Active - New"" until you have passed the tests New joiners will have the status of ""Active - New"" until they have passed the test when it will be changed to ""Active"".
