BAW Flight Numbers When Using GCP

Post by nwadc10 »

Until further notice, if operating a BAW flight number it is required that the airline code be changed to GTI when using GCP. BAW is not an authorized airline in the GCP code which will prevent the PIREP from being submitted. If manually filling out the Preflight screen, select the airline Atlas Air. If you are using the select flight function that automatically populates the preflight tab fields, change the airline code in Flight No. to GTI. For example, if the Flight No. is BAW1234 it should be changed to GTI1234.

This is an item that will require an update to GCP. I will be looking at an alternate method of updating the authorized airline list to be done automatically with the content controlled by admin. This alternate method would no longer require an update to the GCP program but instead a file that it reads.

I just adjusted the server-side code so that when GCP gets updated, it will be able to submit BAW flights. FSFK users can now start submitting BAW flights...
