Along with the release of the new website and GCP 3.1.0 we will finally change our operation to use KG weights. There are a few aircraft that use LBS in the real world that maybe we will continue to use LBS for but initially I expect everything to be done in KGs.
So, when you are able to requests releases, whether live or simbrief, weights will be shown in KGs.
