This post is to serve as a notice of a possible Job Posting in the near future.
We have been discussing taking our training to the next level. The goal we'd like to achieve is to become known in the VA world for superior training in procedures and systems specific to the models we fly.
Continuing to work on this project is dependent on interest from you. If you would like to partake in such training please indicate that in the linked post (users are unable to respond in this sub-forum) below or on the Discord post.
The Job Posting is for a Director of Training with the following, preliminary, requirements:
- 121 experience in terms of being trained (preferred)
- Able to manage projects and people
- High time commitment
- PowerPoint experience or able to learn
- Oversee curriculum development
- Manage VATSIM ATO program
Manager of (preliminary):
- Chief Flight Instructor (required for VATSIM ATO)
- Flight Instructor
- Heavy Jet Curriculum Developer
- Small Jet Curriculum Developer
We are excited to get to work on this project if there will be members who use it. The training curriculum will be optional, nobody will be required to complete these courses. We are thinking about the possibility of providing some reward to members who complete an upper level training course, such as a Type Rating, free of charge.
