Re: Flying LDS 767 from VC
The CS 767 VC does look very good. The problem is it doesn't look much like a real 767 flightdeck. To me it looks like an artist's impression of one. What puts me off is that you can see switchlight legends when the light is off. The real aircraft swithlights aren't like that. The OFF legend is mech...

Re: Website problems
I noticed that older PIREPs are no longer accessible on the website. Seems to be all PIREPs dating from early in October 2014 and before are missing. You get Error 404 file not found instead.

According to the form my slot started at 20:03.40z, but when I tried to open a couple of minutes later the bid page said there was still 28 minutes to run, in other words my actual slot began at around 20:...

Re: Provisional status
The Indoc Exam is purely based on the Pilot Manual. Answers to all questions will be found in that document. A new Pilot Manual is due for publishing very soon and a completely rewritten Indoc Exam to go with it. Your Provisional status requirements within 14 days is extended to 14 days after the p...

Re: Provisional status
Sorry to drag up this old thread, but is the indoctrination exam a technical exam like the entrance exam, or is it based on VA procedures as the training page implies? I'd like to know what I'm up against and what to prepare for. I didn't get a welcome letter as such, just an email saying my applica...
